The Skydiggers were way to good to become famous/main stream. Such a hidden gem of a band.

I used to hang around with the Skydiggers back in the '90s whenever they were in Halifax, and I once brought my Gretsch Country Gentleman guitar to one of their gigs ( I think it was on the Dalhousie campus ) so Josh could see and try it out. This would have been around the time when "Just Over This Mountain" was their new album. Josh is still one of my favourite guitarists, and I was very flattered that he played my guitar a bit. He told me: "you obviously take good care of it." I asked Josh once why he didn't use his Gretsch onstage, and he explained that he preferred not to travel with it. When I lived in Toronto for a year or so, I sometimes saw Andy, Wayne or Ron on the street, and they would always stop and chat for a few minutes. They were all a great bunch of guys, and I very fondly remember those times. I'm still a fan.

The first time I saw you perform was opening for Blue Rodeo in Banff. You still have the same beautiful raw sound!

Saw Skydiggers at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver way back. Bouncing on the wood floor that had tires underneath. One of best concerts on my life. Still love their songs .

Just stumbled upon this great band again, after years of listening to them. What a unique, moving sound! We have such a unique sound here in Canada; love it!

I love this band. I'm from the states. Grew up in the sticks. No MTV, but we had CBC and MuchMusic. I am so glad I got to listen to so many Canadian gems!

I can't sing but for some reason I sing along every time and I can't stop myself from changing the tune. I don't even know if it's called the tune because like I said I don't sing and musical notes are foreign language
